“Divorce Stinks. No matter how disloyal he may have been, no matter how much better off you will be, divorce is awful, painful, scary, confusing -- it just plain stinks. I know, I have been there. Become part of the sister “hood” now!”

survive divorce

You can survive. And one way you can survive is to realize you are part of a sisterhood. Join us “girls of the hood”. Tap into your sense of humor, your anger, and the power within you. Then you will not only survive, but eventually SOAR!

Dear Friends,

I struggled through divorce several years ago, with the strong support of a few close women friends. Amidst the tears, trauma and devastation, I was able to hold on to my sense of humor. Some of my friends refer to it as my "gallows sense of humor". Well, you know, sometimes if you don't find some humor in a situation, it will definitely defeat you. I sunk pretty low, but I was NOT defeated.
I created this website so we can laugh together, cry together and even kick a little butt together. Most importantly, however, I hope you can find healing, support and value in yourself. You are stronger than you know and you are of great worth. Welcome to the sisterhood!!

Fortunately, throughout my trauma, grieving and eventual healing I had a few good women friends who gathered 'round to support me, offer advice and love as well as laughs! I hope you have the same, but just in case why not join us girls of the “hood”? We can be your on line support, sisterhood, source for love, laughs and a little inspiration.

When you become a member you will automatically receive our periodic “Sassy Sisterhood Alert”. It will be like a good friend. It will show up periodically with a little advice, information, or tidbit to make you laugh.
